Wild Card/Vacation Day 11 of 12
Only two more shopping days until I return to the final days of the City Council campaigns. Then, we'll have fun taking apart the campaigns. Any dirt yet? Any mudslinging. You know, the good stuff. Mother on trial for raping own daughter
The woman allegedly entered the room, pulled down the young girl's pants and inserted something into her vagina. The girl told police she then "blanked out" and does not remember any other details of the alleged offence. The court was told the girl has been medically examined but that the examination was inconclusive. The court heard the girl told her grandmother about the alleged incident and that the police were then informed. The crown indicated on the first day of the trial on Monday that the grandmother and the girl would both give evidence during the trial, which is expected to last for three days. The court was closed following the crown's opening address while the jury watched prerecorded evidence from the girl. The trial continues.
Toronto considers $190 fee for tossing out trash
I wonder if it will be okay to use my 'Banner Dustless Ash-sifter', that rocks back and forth. Do you think the collectors will touch it. This thing was such a good idea back in the 40's. ASDA extend Kwik Cricket link
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that ASDA will continue its title sponsorship of Kwik Cricket until September 2009. ASDA, who initially became an official sponsor in March 2006, will work in partnership with the ECB to develop and implement two major campaigns designed to use ASDA Kwik Cricket as a vehicle to educate children about the benefits of healthy living and also raise the profile of the sport within communities. A core element of these campaigns will involve the ECB, in conjunction with the 18 first-class counties, and ASDA establishing a series of recreational junior cricket festivals across the country. This will also include new girl's tournaments aimed at increasing levels of participation. These festivals will be attended by high-profile professional cricketers who, in addition to passing on coaching tips, will also talk to kids about the benefits of healthy eating.
