No bones about it: 20 push-ups before bed
I'm sorry that you did not achieve anything of note in your work life, but believe that some other people do. Just like how 99% of all walks in the park or swims are utterly forgettable, it's the 1% you are after and they can happen in all parts of life. Posted 31/12/07 at 11:26 AM EST | Link to Comment .
A 'small' advantage
From Shasta College, Alysha transferred to Sacramento State College and earned a degree in political science. While attending Sacramento State, Alysha paid her way through school by working in a restaurant, an experience that she feels was a great help in securing her future career. "While I feel my education has helped me to become successful and has opened doors for me," she related, "I can't discount how important my work experiences during high school and college were." With all the emphasis that gets put on education, it's important to remember that financial self-reliance is also key to success. Great teachers Some of Alysha's best memories from high school are of the teachers that had a positive influence on her life. The two individuals she highlighted in particular are Mr.
Starbucks switches to free AT&T Wi-Fi
Starbucks Corp. and AT&T Inc. will start offering a mix of free and paid wireless Internet service in most of the international coffee retailer's U.S. shops, beginning this spring. The move announced Monday ends a six-year partnership T-Mobile, which did not include free Wi-Fi and charged higher fees than AT&T will. Starbucks said it will give customers who use a Starbucks card two hours of free wireless access per day. More time than that will cost $3.99 for a two-hour session. Monthly memberships will cost $19.99 and include access to any of AT&T's 70,000 hot spots worldwide. Nearly all of AT&T's broadband Internet customers, about 12 million, will automatically have unlimited free Wi-Fi access at Starbucks, the companies said. The deal boosts the number of AT&T hotspots in the U.S.
Flasher pair on prowl in capital
Two flashers have struck more than a dozen times in Wellington in the past few months, exposing themselves to women and young girls or grabbing their breasts. They work both together and alone during daylight hours, grabbing young women, exposing themselves or peeking at girls in changing rooms before running away. The men - one Asian, one European - use magazines or newspapers to cover the fronts of their trousers before exposing themselves. Last week, one man exposed himself to two seven-year-old girls on a bus. They have struck in Civic Square, Lambton Quay, bus stops, the railway station and Mt Victoria. One man went into clothes shops, opening changing room doors to look at girls changing before running away.
